What We Believe

We believe all art, especially ours, is inherently political. We are antiracist, queer, mentally ill, and pro liberation freakz. We create art from trash; discarded materials all too abundant in the wake of late-stage capitalism. We believe one doesn't need to obtain a formal education, nor an excessive wealth to find community, joy, and healing in art. We believe in breaking barriers and building bridges between artists. We value community, liberation, and authentic creative expression, and hold these values over capital gain.

Why We Exist

To provide community and art access to BIPOC, the mentally and physically disabled, and other disenfranchised community members. We aim to be a resource for the community to connect, uplift, and create with each other, without financial barriers or fear of safety.

What We Do

We are based in Mni Sota Makoce, occupied Dakota territory, or so-called Minnesota. We host community events, art markets and educational workshops. Our intent is to share information that has been gate-kept behind systemic barriers, and provide a platform to those disenfranchised to share content and their art to the community. We would love to collaborate with other local groups as well <3 Let's grow our community together! :)
